Our mat protects seeds and enhances germination then decomposes over time into carbon dioxide and organic matter to further aid in plant development.

Specify EcoAegis when one or more of the following conditions occur:

• The site in question has soil disturbance and is at risk of erosion or sedimentation.
• The budget does not allow for use of blankets or erosion control mats.
• The job requires the specified erosion control method to conform to 100% of the soil surface, to prevent tenting and rilling between the product and the soil surface.
• The site is in the path of wildlife and requires erosion or sedimentation control without netting, staples or stakes.
• Water quality or environmental standards require use of a non-toxic, naturally biodegradable product which will restrict erosion and sediment loss until vegetation is established or further development can take place.
• The job requires an erosion or sediment control method that has low visual impact and blends in with the surrounding environment.
