This article is a great encapsulation of the ongoing technology transfer that exists between Florikan’s R&D department and NASAs scientists both on the ground and in low Earth orbit. From the beginning stages in 2004, to our continued collaboration on future manned spaceflight missions.
Florikan continues to optimize blends for research and we are rewarded by taking the results of that research to improve and innovate new polymer coatings. The results have already been seen with Florikan’s recent “vertical farming method” patent utilizing several NASA-assisted blends.
