At The Links at Sagewood in Phoenix, Arizona, architect Gary Brawley, ASGCA, designed a 50,000 square-foot, MiniVerde Bermuda Grass putting course that is fun, accessible and resilient in extreme heat. Partnering with Profile Golf, the team used soil testing and Profile® Porous Ceramic (PPC) Greens Grade™ with EcoFibre® Wood Fiber Mulch to build a greens mix that supports deeper rooting, drainage and water management. Despite one of the driest years in Arizona history, the greens established 8-inch roots in four months, bringing an enjoyable, walker-friendly golf experience back to residents.
