At the Empire Resorts Casino site in Monticello, New York, Profile helped establish vegetation on more than 100 acres (40 ha) of recently graded land facing poor soils, nearby waterbodies and a short application window. Flexterra® High Performance-Flexible Growth Medium® (HP-FGM®) was specified to minimize sediment migration and provide near-perfect erosion control, while ProGanics® Biotic Soil Media™ (BSM™) restored deficient soils and initiated sustainable growth. A team of hydroseeding companies quickly applied both products before winter, resulting in rapid vegetation establishment, a site that held strong through the long winter, and follow-up inspections confirming sustainable vegetative cover.
