Coastal GasLink Pipeline, Skeena Sawmills en hun aannemers hadden behoefte aan erosiebestrijding die voldeed aan strenge milieu- en veiligheidsnormen en tegelijkertijd steile hellingen stabiliseerde. Na bodemonderzoek bracht MALT Ventures op hydraulische wijze 18-24-12-meststof, North West General Mix-zaad en ProMatrix Engineered Fiber<sup>Matrix\u00ae<\/sup> aan in een hoeveelheid van 3.900 kg\/ha (3.500 lb\/ac). De Engineered Fiber Matrix hield zaad en grond op hun plaats voor de ontkieming, waardoor een snelle vegetatieve vestiging werd gecombineerd met blijvende prestaties. Zes maanden na het aanbrengen lieten vervolgbezoeken een weelderige begroeiing, sterke wortelstelsels en resultaten zien die de projecteisen overtroffen.    <\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"h-key-points\" class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3 display-5\">Belangrijkste punten<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>De uitdaging bestond erin om een pijpleidingtrac\u00e9 met een hellingshoek van 2:1 opnieuw te beplanten en daarbij te voldoen aan strenge milieu- en veiligheidsnormen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uit bodemonderzoeken bleek dat de bodem bestond uit aggregaat, vari\u00ebrend van 15 centimeter grote rotsen tot fijne deeltjes met een beperkt gehalte aan organisch materiaal, wat als leidraad diende bij de keuze van meststoffen en zaad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MALT Ventures heeft hydraulisch 400 kg\/ha (350 lb\/ac) meststof 18-24-12, North West General Mix-zaad en 3.900 kg\/ha (3.500 lb\/ac) ProMatrix aangebracht, zonder dat er werknemers op steile hellingen hoefden te werken.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ProMatrix zorgde ervoor dat zaad, meststoffen en grond op hun plaats bleven, waardoor binnen zes maanden weelderige begroeiing en sterke wortelstelsels ontstonden en de milieu- en veiligheidsnormen werden overtroffen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deze casestudy laat zien hoeProMatrix\u00ae EFM heeft bijgedragen aan de herbeplanting van een 2:1-pijpleidingtrac\u00e9 in de buurt van Kitimat, British Columbia.
