Profile® Greens Grade™ is an inorganic soil amendment for sand-based root zones that helps resist compaction, eliminate localized dry spot, promote drainage and support healthy root systems less prone to disease and maintenance problems. This kiln-fired porous ceramic, produced from a unique Mississippi mineral deposit, replaces peat in sand-based greens. With a total porosity of 74% split between capillary and non-capillary pore space, a cation exchange capacity of 33.6 mEq/100g, and sulfate soundness and static degradation testing limiting loss to 4% over 20 years, it delivers long-lasting physical performance.
