The Hydro-Blanket® (BFM) non-woven fiber matrix is 100% biodegradable, manufactured in the USA, and composed of 100% recycled, thermally refined (in a pressurized vessel) virgin wood fibers and wetting agents (including high-density colloidal polysaccharides and cross-linked biopolymers). The BFM is phytosanitary, free of plastic netting, and—once cured—forms a tight bond with the soil surface to create a continuous, porous, absorbent, and flexible erosion-resistant cover that enables rapid germination and accelerated plant growth. The BFM may require a curing period.
